Festive Flurry

Hello and welcome. Today I am going to share a few more Christmas cards I made last night. These are using the Festive Flurry stamp set and a whole lot of  Dazzling Diamonds!

I won't tell you these are quick and easy cards to make, they are not. But they really do have the WOW effect and hopefully the person receiving them will appreciate all the time and effort that has went into making them. Maybe a sentiment is needed on the front? I might alter that if I can find one to fit in now. Let me know what you think.

Thank you for stopping by today . Have a great weekend!

Ex Libris & Joyful Christmas

Hi Stampers! Welcome on this dreary Thursday. I am hoping the weather changes for the better by the weekend. I need to be outdoors! Until it does change though I will just have to stay cozy in my studio.

Today I want to share the most gorgeous meeting of two stamps sets, Ex Libris and Joyful Christmas. I wish I could take credit for this design but I cannot. The master mind behind it comes from Stamping for His Glory found here. When I ran across this on pinterest I knew I had to make some of these cards. At long last I have! Take a look……

You may have noticed some the blue cards have the sentiment on the bottom while the strawberry have it on the top. I would to tell you that was planned but it was not! Everything was going so smoothly in the making of these until I forgot to invert the Ex Libris image on the strawberry slush cards . Kinda like the mix up now though:-)

I added some shimmer mist to the strawberry poinsettias for extra shimmer. Love love love!

I am really excited to have made these as part of my Christmas card stash this year. I hope you enjoyed today's project. Please come again soon.

Joyful Christmas, mini album cont

Welcome back Stampers! Today I have some exciting projects to share with you. Well they are exciting for me. If you have been following my blog you know how long I have been working on this little envelope mini album .  But first let me share with you one of my Christmas card designs for this year.

I have added red sparkle glue to the centre but it's not showing up in the photo! Might have to give this card a little more bling to the centre:-)

Now on to the mini album…..

You may recognise some of the flowers from my recent wreath project. I have decided to recycle them into this album. So keep an eye out for a new wreath in the making:-)

Thank you for stopping in today and please feel free to leave comments. I love hearing from my visitors and appreciate people taking the time to post.

Have a great day and come again soon!

Father's Day Greetings

Hi Stampers. Hope you are rested from the long holiday weekend. I had the opportunity to take some long beautiful walks in the Cotswolds which was a treat. I seemed to have overlooked an area for trekking so my intent is to explore it more over the next month.

I also got the chance to play in the studio a bit. With Father's Day around the corner I thought it would be nice to focus on that for my project. The Wetlands stamp set is always a favourite for masculine cards.

I can't get enough of the Hardwood background stamp and of course the wood embossing folder. I love the texture and dimension it gives to every project.

I hope you have enjoyed these cards. Please come again.

From My Heart

Hello Stampers. It's been so long since I have had time to update my blog. Apologies! Life just keeps getting in the way of crafting time these days. Hopefully that is going to change very soon.

I have had a little time to play with one of my favourite sets, From My Heart by Stampin Up! I just love the vintage look of these stamps. In this project I combined Crisp Cantaloupe with Baked Brown Sugar.

I thought the Petite Petals would really accent this card nicely. And of course I needed some of the ruffled ribbon!

A few pearls and leaves and I had these cards completed in about 30 minutes. Not bad. I have found it's just as easy to make two cards as one !

I also had enough time to add two more pages to my Envelope Mini Album for you to view today.

This little album has taken me longer to complete than any other album I have done in the past. Having said that, it's the only one I have made I didn't look on and think "oh I wish I had done this" or "oh I wish I could change that". So maybe patience does pay off!

Thank you for joining me today. I hope you have a great weekend and will come again.

A Very Vintage Christmas…..

Hi Stampers! As you can see I am still working on my Christmas cards for this year. I had a rare run up to one of my favourite craft shops yesterday. Big Mistake! They have started carrying a line of the most gorgeous designer papers called PION. I have fallen in love! As most of you know I like my Graphic 45 but this new company has taken number one spot now! I think you will agree when you've taken a look……

If you like what you see check back as I have a stack of all new papers to work with! And remember it's never too early to start thinking about Christmas:-)) Have a wonderful day!

Special Birthday Banner

Hi Stampers. Are you all ready for the long weekend? I am ! I am so eager to get into my studio and craft. I've got my head full of ideas just need the time to get them on paper.

Today I have a special birthday card to share with you. I sat down to create this card and ended up with something completely different than I originally planned. Isn't that always the way? Take a look and see what you think…..

I really enjoyed creating this card.  I hope my special someone likes it as well! Before you leave take a quick look at the next pages in my envelope mini album.

I hadn't realised how long it has been since I worked on this album, Shameful! With any luck I will complete it over the weekend. If so, I will post the whole album next week. It's been the first stress free mini I've ever done! I'm not a fan of measurements or tedious instructions…..just let me embellish please:-))

Hope you will come again soon.
